Kevin and I spent a great week in Belize at the beginning of November (and I’m just now getting around to posting some pictures of it!). I grew up traveling to Belize and it was such an influential part of my childhood that it was long overdue for him to get down there and see it for himself. This was probably one of the best (and by best I mean FUN) teams we’ve ever gone with. The trip was quick – only 4 days – but we had a blast. Two nights at Jaguar Creek and two nights at Chaa Creek gave a good overview of the country before we headed back home.
We visited the work that PathLight International is doing to provide educational opportunities to children at-risk. They are a constant inspiration for my work with The SOLD Project and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be exposed to what they do and learn from them! Visit their website to learn more about how you can get involved with them!
