Rice Farming in Thailand

This last week I gathered with 40+ individuals to engage in a global conversation with emerging church leaders. While it was a beautiful week of dialogue, the highlight for me was the pre-conference. A smaller group of us made our way out to Lop Buri where we spend two evenings in a small village, learning about Thailand’s farming and agricultural industry. It was my first time rice farming, and the experience gave me a new appreciation for the labor that goes in to the staple food of Thailand. Many thanks to Mesa Friends for coordinating this experience and Ang and Ash barker for their great hospitality!
